The problem
Screening for cervical cancer and tuberculosis saves lives, but specialist review is scarce outside cities. Health workers in the community often capture good images yet have no one nearby to interpret them.
What Daghe does
Daghe helps health workers screen images with AI that runs directly in the browser. It supports cervical cancer screening by visual inspection and chest X-ray review for TB, along with skin and retinal checks.

A screening result with a confidence band and a clear referral flag when needed.

From hackathon to incubation
Daghe was built in three days by a team of three teenagers at the NG44 Hub Hackathon on AI in Healthcare for Africa, held in Benin City in September 2026. The team is now receiving mentoring and technical support from the hub.
Daghe is an assistive screening tool. Its results support the judgement of trained health workers and do not replace clinical diagnosis.
