NG44 Technology and Innovation Hub is the innovation-support department of NG44 Consulting. From the ancient city of Benin we support innovators and communities across Africa.
A dedicated unit with a public mandate
NG44 Hub is a technology innovation hub located in Benin City, Nigeria. It was established on 1 October 2025 as an autonomous department of NG44 Consulting and is run as part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility programme.
The hub exists to give structured support to people outside the company. We work with young developers and entrepreneurs who want to build, and with the farmers and health workers who need better tools.
Our team builds open technology and runs hackathons. We also publish free online courses and mentor the teams that emerge from our events until their products are ready for real users.
Around this work sits a growing online community of African developers, farmers, traders, community health workers and young people. They turn to us for practical training and for a place to share what they are learning.
We give Africa's innovators steady, structured support to turn ideas into working solutions, and we build open technology that serves the communities they live in.
An Africa where good ideas do not die for lack of support, and where the food we eat and the care we receive are made safer by technology built at home.

Sets the hub's direction and programme calendar. Manages partnerships and oversees the delivery and reporting of every programme.

Builds and maintains our learner-facing products, including the food safety courses and the Asibi triage app.

Leads work on the DatAfri Protocol and shared infrastructure, and provides technical mentoring at hackathons.
Judges and guest mentors
Practitioners from our wider network who are engaged for each programme to mentor teams and assess their work.
