NG44 Hub was established on 1 October 2025 as an autonomous department of NG44 Consulting under the company's Corporate Social Responsibility programme. It runs a planned calendar of programmes and publishes the results of each one on this site.

Building open digital infrastructure for the Africa of tomorrow
Most African apps are built in isolation. They cannot share data with each other and they struggle when the network drops. We design open standards and shared tools that any developer can adopt for free, starting with the DatAfri Protocol for offline-first data exchange.

Supporting innovation and innovators across Africa
We look for young people with promising ideas and give them the space and guidance to build. Our hackathons end with working prototypes, and the strongest teams continue with us for mentoring and technical support until their product is ready for real users.

Advancing food safety and food self-sufficiency in Africa
Contaminated or spoiled food costs African farmers their income and harms the families who eat it. We teach practical prevention in plain language, so farmers and traders can grow and sell more food that is safe to eat.
